Chardham Yatra
Overview
The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in India, covering four holy shrines nestled in the majestic Himalayas of Uttarakhand. This spiritual journey includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, each dedicated to different deities and associated with immense religious significance.
The yatra begins from Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River, followed by Gangotri, the origin of the holy Ganga. It then proceeds to Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, located amidst breathtaking mountain scenery. Finally, the journey concludes at Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, offering divine peace and spiritual fulfillment.
This pilgrimage is not only a journey of faith but also an exploration of nature, devotion, and inner peace.
